Mr. Shah has been a lifetime alumnus of the University of Houston since 2006 and has been an active member of Delta Sigma Pi since 2004. He is also a member of Jewelers of America and has served as a mentor at the C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston from 2019 to 2020. Additionally, he is a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization since 2018 and a trustee of the Amijag Foundation Inc. since 2014. Laying a solid educational foundation, Mr. Shah earned a 12th-grade finance and economics degree from H.R. College of Commerce & Economics in 2002, an Associate of Arts in business from Houston Community College in 2004, a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Houston, both in 2006. His professional certifications include Certified Public Accountant from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy, Real Estate Broker from Texas REALTORS, Registered Investment Advisor from the Securities and Exchange Commission, Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute, QuickBooks Platinum Pro Advisor from Intuit Accountants, Registered Tax Return Preparer from the Internal Revenue Service, Certified Member Appraiser from The National Association of Jewellers, Diamontologist from the Diamond Council of America, Accredited Jewelry Professional from the Gemological Institute of America, and Certified Tutor from the College Reading & Learning Association.
Mr. Shah takes great pride in his remarkable success within the industry, achieved through his innovative approach, whereby he transformed the traditional model by supplying high-quality watches and introducing upgraded iron and jewelry. Instead of solely focusing on selling products, he collaborated with jewelry stores to eliminate dead stock and replace it with high-demand items. His team also offered certifications, appraisals, warranties, and other value-added services to enhance customer purchasing experiences. He attributes his success to adhering to ethical principles and carefully selecting clients who share these values. In the coming years, he plans to train a thousand children from diverse backgrounds, aged eight to 25, in finance, real estate, and education. His vision is to develop these young individuals into successful entrepreneurs under the Amijag umbrella.
