Nicholas P. Saliaris, corporate security architect and manager at LeanTaaS, and co-owner of My Nerd Life, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in information technology (IT).

With nearly two decades of experience to her credit, Ms. Saliaris has built a successful career in information technology, specializing in cloud and corporate security, as well as entrepreneurship. Since 2022, she has excelled as a corporate security architect and manager at LeanTaaS, IT manager at Starship Horizons, and co-owner of My Nerd Life since 2019. In her IT roles, she manages both a small IT team and the security team, implements new ticketing systems, integrates companies after acquisitions, configures applications across tools, and evaluates AI adoption, focusing on how to use it securely. Her experience also includes serving as product security and SecOps architect at Wave Mobile Money from 2021 to 2022, senior security analyst for insider threats at PNC from 2020 to 2021, and senior analyst in global information security at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company from 2019 to 2020. She also worked at Boeing as a senior systems integration and security specialist from 2017 to 2018, programmer analyst from 2015 to 2017, and held managerial and technical roles at Rage Corporation from 2006 to 2015.

Ms. Saliaris is a member of the League of Professional System Administrators, the International Information System Security Certification Consortium, CompTIA, and InfraGard, and actively supports Northeast Ohio Women in STEM and donates to Woodworks and The Twig. Laying a solid educational foundation, she is currently pursuing a Master of Information Systems Management at Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. She previously completed coursework in aviation engineering at The Ohio State University in 2008 and earned a CIS in computer forensics from DeVry University in 2012. Her certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Agile certification from Boeing, Security+ from CompTIA, Crowdstrike Administration, ForeScout Administrator from Forescout Technologies Inc., Hadoop Big Data 1 from Saint Louis University, SumoLogic Administrator, and ZScaler Administrator.

Mr. Saliaris takes great pride in LeanTaaS’s successful acquisition of one of its competitors, which was done with only three weeks’ notice. Despite a process that typically takes a year, he streamlined the entire integration effort, spearheaded the documentation process, and guided the IT team and all other departments on how best to integrate with the acquired company. He attributes his success to his wife’s support and relentless pursuit of learning in the ever-evolving tech industry. He understands the importance of continuous learning to stay relevant and is motivated to constantly acquire new knowledge and skills. In the coming years, he aims to advance to a director-level position, allowing him to maintain some hands-on involvement while leading new teams. He hopes to guide his current company, which is on the brink of reaching unicorn status, through the process of going public. Afterward, he plans to move on to another small team, where he can contribute to their growth and development, a role he truly enjoys.
