Demonstrating a remarkable ability to innovate and lead in the rapidly evolving technology sector, Mr. Williams is widely renowned for his expertise in AI-driven commerce, secure payment processing and rule-governed payment processes. His journey into programming began at a young age, writing his first software program at the age of eight and continuing to develop his skills throughout high school while working in software support. This early exposure to the field laid the foundation for a career spanning more than two decades in software development, consulting and entrepreneurship.

In 2026, Mr. Williams co-founded SettleVIA Inc., where he additionally excels as chief artificial intelligence officer. The aforementioned company is dedicated to improving the efficiency of international settlements, particularly for island nations in regions such as the Caribbean and Oceania. Under his leadership, SettleVIA has partnered with major technology companies including IBM, Nvidia and Nokia.

In his present positions, Mr. Williams is actively involved in daily operations at SettleVIA Inc., checking in with the development team, conducting standups, addressing critical problems and attending business development meetings. He also pursues continuing education in emerging artificial intelligence technologies to ensure SettleVIA remains at the forefront of innovation. Mr. Williams’ work with SettleVIA marks his first venture into finance-oriented business after extensive experience in telecommunications, energy and blockchain.

Additionally, Mr. Williams has found success with Semeon Systems as chief executive officer since 2012, building systems and applications that continue to generate passive revenue years after their creation. He takes particular pride in developing solutions for small companies that require minimal maintenance yet remain profitable over time. From 2024 to 2025, Mr. Williams was appointed as the chief technology officer at Forevver Foundation, contributing his technical expertise to advance the organization’s mission. He previously served as chief architect at Devvio Inc. from 2018 to 2024, where he played a key role in shaping innovative blockchain solutions.

Between 2014 and 2018, Mr. Williams was active as the co-founder of SunPort by CloudSolar (Sunport Power) in Albuquerque. The venture received recognition as TechCo Startup of the Year in 2015 and was lauded for its Sunboard project, a platform enabling consumers to demand solar energy even without direct access to solar panels. Despite its initial success through a Kickstarter campaign with approximately 3,000 customers, Sunboard did not transition into an ongoing business; nevertheless, Mr. Williams regards it as a significant milestone in his professional journey.

Earlier roles to Mr. Williams’ credit include the director of engineering at Netcracker from 2010 to 2012,and  the director of information systems at Veeyah from 2013 to 2014. At Netcracker, he previously refined his skills as the lead integrator from 2005 to 2007 and the technical manager from 2007 to 2010. Mr. Williams’ career began as a sales representative with Vector Marketing from 2001 to 2002 before operating as an undergraduate researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab within the School of Architecture and Planning from 2003 to 2004.

Mr. Williams’s professional accomplishments are underscored by several notable milestones. In 2025, he was awarded patent US-12418428-B2 for an embedded device authentication system, a testament to his commitment to advancing secure technology solutions. He also holds a patent for a method of detecting interdiction in hardware devices using classical encryption techniques rather than quantum computing approaches. With about six additional patents pending related to auditing and authenticating multi-party transactions, Mr. Williams’ contributions continue to shape industry standards.

Mr. Williams’ membership in the World Wide Web Consortium since 2026 reflects his ongoing engagement with global technology standards development. He is working on establishing a community group within the organization focused on agentic money transfers that build upon existing frameworks advanced by leading technology firms such as Google. He is also a past member of IEEE and ACM Inc., further highlighting his connection to professional communities dedicated to technological advancement. Likewise, Mr. Williams has contributed scholarly work as a contributor to the Journal of the American Chemical Society published by the American Chemical Society in 2001.

Throughout his career, Mr. Williams has been recognized for both innovation and impact, including with StartUp of the Year honors from Tech.co in partnership with Marketing VF Ltd. and CTA in 2015 as well as the Pioneering Spirit Award from the U.S. Army that same year.

Mr. Williams’s educational background includes earning a Bachelor of Science in mathematics with computer science and a Bachelor of Science in management with concentrations in operations research, discrete mathematics and comparative media studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge in 2006. To further enhance his expertise, he has obtained several certifications in recent years, including as a Certified Professional in Agentic AI from NVIDIA Corporation, multiple IBM Z Deep Dive Series credentials, and Security+ from CompTIA Inc.

Beyond his entrepreneurial ventures, Mr. Williams founded Catalyst Week more than ten years ago as a nonprofit platform for sharing knowledge about entrepreneurship with adult learners across Albuquerque’s business community. As board member since its inception in 2015, he continues to guide its mission while seeking ways to automate its teaching services for broader accessibility via web applications. His civic involvement extends further through volunteer work with Native American libraries across New Mexico and instructing at Lutheran Family Services. Mr. Williams actively supports Scouting America—where his children participate—and contributes time and resources to local food banks based on community needs each year.

Mr. Williams attributes his success to perseverance through challenging periods and an ability to approach problems from multiple perspectives rather than becoming entrenched in one viewpoint. Frequently described as a “fixer” during consulting engagements, particularly by his telecommunications clients, he has been called upon repeatedly to resolve complex operational issues where others have struggled. Taking a long-term view has been central to Mr. Williams’s philosophy; he believes progress is achieved through sustained effort rather than short bursts of activity and credits perseverance for much of his professional growth.

Despite numerous achievements, including successful ventures like Sunport, Mr. Williams maintains that his most significant accomplishments are still ahead of him. He is especially proud of building enduring systems for small businesses that continue generating value over time but believes that advancements in artificial intelligence will enable him to realize even greater ideas that have been years in development. Mr. Williams plans future projects including new types of information networks distinct from current models and innovative games while expanding Catalyst Week’s reach through automation so entrepreneurs can access project management support on demand without direct interaction.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Williams aims to drive efficiency gains within computational methods while protecting environmental resources through smarter technologies embedded seamlessly into daily life. He hopes SettleVIA will help lower international remittance costs so individuals retain more earnings while supporting economic empowerment globally. Mr. Williams continues striving toward leaving a lasting positive impact on society by creating new technologies alongside talented collaborators—motivated by a desire not only for personal achievement but also for making the world better for future generations.
