With nearly two and a half decades of experience, Mr. Grisby has established a successful career in business administration. Since 2007, he has excelled as the co-lead of healthcare strategy and growth at Deloitte, while also serving as the national practice leader for life science and healthcare corporate finance since 2004. In these roles, he leads Deloitte’s life science and health care corporate finance practices both in the United States and globally. He champions a shift from traditional sick care to a wellness-oriented model of care, promoting the transition to well-care as a more cost-effective solution for the U.S. health care system. He advocates for incorporating comprehensive health care approaches, including mental health, behavioral health, and social interactions, while influencing consumer products to align with this transition. He also serves as a global future health leader, presenting on well-care initiatives and playing a key role on the supervisory committee for Deloitte Corporate Finance. His previous experience includes serving as a director at Houlihan Lokey from 2001 to 2003, a director at UBS Investment Bank from 1995 to 2001, and working with Chase Manhattan Bank in London.
Mr. Grisby has also made significant contributions as a keynote speaker, presenting on the future of health care for various hospital associations. He is a published author and contributor to the Wall Street Journal and Deloitte Insights and serves as a contributing editor for “Best Practices in M&A” with The M&A Advisor. He has been quoted in Forbes on health care and GenAI impacts, as well as in Fortune and various trade magazines. He has also served as a guide for disabled athletes in the New York Marathon and has been a judge for the M&A Advisor Awards. In light of his impressive undertakings, he was honored with the Healthcare Restructuring Deal of the Year and the Healthcare Deal of the Year by The M&A Advisor in 2014. Laying a solid educational foundation for these successes, he earned a Master of Arts from the University of Oxford and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
