Eric Mahon, director of corporate accounts at Synexis, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in health care.
The culmination of a career of more than 15 years, Mr. Mahon currently serves as the director of corporate account health care for Synexis. In this role, he oversees contract management for an industrial company that produces air and surface purification systems. Concurrently with that, Mr. Mahon holds the positions of account executive for SC Johnson Professional and territory manager for DebMed. He previously contributed to SC Johnson Professional as a corporate account manager. Mr. Mahon’s early career includes working as a consumable account manager for STERIS Corporation and as a sales account manager for Advanced Radiology. The first job on his professional path was as a sales and marketing representative for American Radiology Services beginning in 2008.
Mr. Mahon’s journey has been bolstered by his education. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in history with minors in political science and philosophy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2006. Mr. Mahon is affiliated with a number of industry-related groups. He currently maintains membership in the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association and the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology. Mr. Mahon was inspired to work hard by his mother and grandmother, who both instilled a sense of diligence in him. Additionally, he attributes his success to his strong work ethic and willingness to step out of his comfort zone.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Mahon is a devoted husband and father to twin sons. In his free time, he enjoys playing and coaching soccer, and he volunteers his time as president of the Patriot Soccer Foundation. Moving forward, Mr. Mahon looks to improve the position of Synexis within the health care industry. He is eager to play a key role in developing the company’s strengths and aiding its growth.
