With over four and a half decades of experience, Mr. Goode has built a successful career in animal nutrition and industrial applications. He currently serves as the chairman of the board at ILC Resources, a position he has held since 2024, where he oversees profit and loss, benefit programs, and plant operations. Prior to this role, he was the president and chief executive officer of ILC Resources from 2011 to 2024. He also held a notable tenure at Land O’Lakes. He held several leadership positions, including vice president of sales for Purina Feed from 2010 to 2011, vice president of commercial and lifestyle feeds from 2007 to 2010, and vice president of the Upper Midwest, East Central Basin, and Northeast regions from 2004 to 2007. His earlier roles included vice president of animal milk products from 2000 to 2004, general manager of animal milk products from 1997 to 2000, and director of sales and marketing for animal milk products from 1992 to 1997.
Mr. Goode’s experience also includes roles at International Mineral and Chemical in the veterinary products division, where he served as national sales manager from 1989 to 1992, product marketing manager from 1988 to 1989, and regional manager for sales from 1983 to 1987. He began his career in sales at Astra Pharmaceuticals from 1982 to 1983. Additionally, he is a member of the American Seed Industry Association and has been recognized with the President’s Award for his contributions at Land O’Lakes. He laid a strong educational foundation, earning a Bachelor of Science in agriculture, economics, and engineering from the University of Alberta in 1980. He attributes his success to surrounding himself with talented individuals, establishing clear expectations, and consistently taking action. In the coming years, he plans to transition to a more relaxed pace, indulging in travel while continuing to make meaningful contributions in a way that prioritizes his time. He will also remain active on the board and is open to new opportunities.
