Manas Pathak, Co-founder at EarthEn, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in energy storage.
Dr. Pathak is recognized as a leading executive in energy storage as the co-founder and chief executive officer of EarthEn, an energy storage startup he launched in 2021 to address climate change. Excelling in addressing renewable energy and the intermittent availability of solar and wind power, he is dedicated to making significant changes to enable cleaner energy generation. The goal is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions significantly, thus reducing the effects of global warming. Leveraging the support of about $3 million from the U.S. Department of Energy, and the National Science Foundation, Dr. Pathak continues to lead the organization, focusing on EarthEn’s pioneering CO2 battery technology and its extensive storage and lifespan.
Before pivoting into this sector, Dr. Pathak specialized in artificial intelligence (AI) and was employed by Intel corporation for over 5 years, beginning as a process engineer, then as a global AI lead for energy, and finally as an AI partner lead. His success in his professional ventures stems from his extensive education, which includes a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in applied geology from the Indian Institute of Technology in India in 2013, a Doctor of Philosophy in chemical engineering from the University of Utah in 2017 and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University in 2022, as well as certification in management essentials through Harvard Business School Online.
Dr. Pathak has been involved in the professional community as an ambassador lecturer for the Society of Petroleum Engineers International and president of the University of Utah chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association. He has also been involved civically through various volunteer opportunities, such as Let’s Do It! Dhanbad as a coordinator. Highlighting his hard work, Dr. Pathak has received several fellowships like Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) STAR fellowship and an INSPIRE Scholarship for Academic Excellence from the Government of India. Enthusiastic about future success, his goals include taking EarthEn public through an initial public offering and continue sharing his knowledge in this sector in the coming years.
