Leveraging his expertise in international health care policies and clinical pathways for patient care, Mr. Gilden has held several other significant roles that led him to where he is today. Since 2013, he has served as the project development manager for Healthcare Technologies International. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Mr. Gilden received a Bachelor of Arts in speech communications in 2008. Throughout his career, he has been grateful for his various contributions, including his role in successfully treating the first Turkish patient approved for proton treatment by his government in 2017. This life-saving treatment for a brain tumor took place in the U.S., was profoundly impactful for Mr. Gilden and continues to drive him today. As he prepares for the Proton Referral Network’s future, he aims to secure several more government contracts in other countries with health care coverage for proton therapy and continue making a difference on a global scale.
