Reflecting on his path, Mr. Marino assumed the role of president of RAK Porcelain USA during one of the most challenging periods of the pandemic and successfully navigated the company through a critical reorganization, streamlining operations and focusing efforts on the only two open markets at the time, Florida and Texas. Recognizing the success of this strategy, he allocated additional resources to it, enabling the company to expand rapidly and position itself as a trendsetting, competitive brand in its industry. He also established a free trade zone facility in the United States for his division, which allows the company to import goods duty-free when exporting them from the United States, streamlining operations and supporting expansion within the Western Hemisphere. His vision extends beyond the US, as he aims to further expand RAK’s footprint across North America, Central and South America, and the Caribbean, solidifying the company’s presence throughout the Americas.
Mr. Marino attributes his success to his unwavering faith and the support of his family. Additionally, he views every challenge as an opportunity for growth and approaches obstacles with confidence in his ability to overcome them. Grateful for the people around him, he recognizes the vital role of RAK Porcelain’s extensive resources, including access to a diverse team and services, in achieving his professional goals. He advises aspiring professionals to consider the food service sector, a field often overlooked in favor of high-profile industries like pharmaceuticals. He highlights its unique appeal, offering opportunities to travel, explore diverse cultures, and engage with major brands. Additionally, he underscores the sector’s role as a trendsetter, where innovations shape the future rather than follow popular strategies.
