Before launching Clarity Energy Consulting, Mr. Fulps was a business development manager at Direct Energy from 2009 to 2011 and an energy marketing manager at Reliant Energy between 2005 and 2009. These positions were pivotal in his ability to learn the industry and eventually pivot into entrepreneurship. Earlier in his career, Mr. Fulps excelled in the sports sector as a trainer quality assurance manager at Fox Sports Direct, a high-profile sports organization and publishing company, from 1993 to 1998, where he was recognized as the Manager of the Year in 1997.
Mr. Fulps has held a Bachelor of Arts in physical education from the University of Texas at Arlington since 1986. He also received credentials as a certified energy manager, making him highly qualified. Besides his professional achievements, Mr. Fulps has enjoyed serving in a civic capacity as a board member for the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth since 2006 and in various previous positions for such organizations as the Hope Center for Autism and Taste of Arlington. He credits his success to continuous learning and satisfaction from helping clients find solutions that meet their needs. He intends to continue providing his expertise and innovative solutions while expanding the company’s operations.
