In these roles, he is instrumental in funding and consulting for Watch Our Own, focusing on building a multi-tenant and multi-cloud infrastructure, in addition to leading marketing efforts, negotiating contracts with third-party companies like Cascade, and creating content to attract users to the platform. He began his at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in the 1980s, where he developed technology for police and fire departments, creating an environment known as Unix. Mr. Paolillo then transitioned to Console International, which later became HSBC, where he served as the head of engineering and cybersecurity and head of emerging technologies.
Following his impactful work at HSBC, Mr. Paolillo found success in several posts with the Bank of America Corporation and Vonage. His longstanding commitment to innovation is evident in his work with Watch Our Own, which aims to assist caregivers by providing tools for task sharing and connectivity. In addition to his corporate achievements, he has been recognized with several awards, including the CIO Award and the Most Impact Award from Bank of America Corporation. Mr. Paolillo initially supported his professional ambitions by earning a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 1988.
Mr. Paolillo’s passion for making a positive impact extends beyond his current ventures. Through Aegis Tech Ventures, he consults with individuals holding security clearance to help small companies achieve their goals. During his tenure at HSBC, he fondly recalls leading a project known as “Black Tuesday,” streamlining tax payment processes involving high-value transactions totaling about $1 billion. Looking toward the future, his vision includes promoting Watch Our Own software through partnerships with national caregiver networks at no cost to users. Furthermore, Mr. Paolillo hopes to maintain his involvement with Habitat for Humanity initiatives focused on training and empowerment.
