Jason D. Fletcher, certified financial planner and senior financial consultant at DF Consultants, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in finance.
With two and a half decades of experience, Mr. Fletcher has established a successful career in finance, specializing in financial planning, consulting, and wealth management. He currently serves as a certified financial planner and senior financial consultant at DF Consultants, a position he has held since 2014. In this role, he and his firm focus on health, life, and long-term care insurance, investment and portfolio management, as well as business strategy and planning for business owners. His experience also includes banking center manager and senior personal banker at Bank of America Corporation from 2003 to 2014, and an investment advisor at John Hancock from 1999 to 2003. He has also dedicated his time as a volunteer at Orchard Hills Church since 2021.
Mr. Fletcher laid a solid educational foundation, earning a bachelor’s degree in economics from Virginia Military Institute, graduating with honors in 1999, and a master’s degree in project management from Capella University, also with honors, in 2012. He is a certified financial planner, having completed the certification in 2021, and holds a Green Belt Six Sigma certificate from Villanova University. His memberships serving on the Bank of America Employee Advisory Panel and the S1 Executive Council for the Mid-Atlantic Area, both in 2013. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has consistently ranked in the top 3 in sales for five consecutive years in the Annapolis/Chesapeake region at Bank of America, and ranked among the top 5 in sales for two years nationally. He also received numerous “Agent of the Month” awards at John Hancock and was ranked in the top 10 in sales for the Mid-Atlantic Region at John Hancock in 2002.
Mr. Fletcher attributes his success to the strong, authentic, and resilient upbringing his parents instilled in him, emphasizing the importance of never making excuses. His faith and his financial partner, who also serves as his spiritual adviser, have also played key roles in his journey. Looking to the future, he plans to pursue the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and the Certified Kingdom Advisor certification. He is considering starting a new company to serve more clients and also aims to improve his health. He advises aspiring professionals to prioritize education, gain as much knowledge as possible before entering the industry, and focus on asking questions and learning before trying to grow too quickly. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Margarita, and their two cats, Zara and Simba, and relaxing by the pool.
