With three decades of experience, Mr. Fik has established a successful career in architecture, currently serving as president and partner at Lantz-Boggio Architects since 2013. In this capacity, he oversees senior living projects, including independent living communities, continuing care retirement campuses, assisted living and memory care buildings, and skilled nursing facilities. His experience also includes roles as project manager at Cee Cee Hodgson Architectural Group from 2010 to 2013, project manager and project architect at Dorsky Hodgson Parrish Yue from 2003 to 2013, project coordinator at Edlund Dritenbas and Binkley from 2001 to 2003, and internships at Karl Thorne and Associates from 2000 to 2001 and Gresham, Smith and Partners from 1998 to 1999.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Fik owned GraFiks International from 1993 to 1998, served as a computer-aided design drafting manager at Edward D. Stone Jr. and Associates from 1988 to 1993, and worked as a CAD drafter at Williams Hatfield and Stoner from 1986 to 1988. Laying a solid educational foundation, he earned an associate of applied science degree in computer-aided design drafting from Elgin Community College in 1986, an associate of arts degree in architecture from Broward College in 1998, and a bachelor’s degree in architecture and landscape architecture from the University of Florida in 2001.
Reflecting on his path, Mr. Fik takes pride in serving as a role model and helping others grow. Additionally, over the past year, his company has seamlessly integrated its mission, vision, and values into its operations. Notably, the CARES team supports individuals in need, such as organizing meals for a team member during a time of need and donating over $150,000 to a local cancer center in Fort Lauderdale. He credits his success to the values instilled by his parents, his faith, and the unwavering support of his wife. Looking to the future, he envisions establishing a not-for-profit foundation to support struggling couples and men in need. To achieve this, he plans to develop alternative income streams through real estate and stock investments, furthering his mission to give back and inspire others.
