Bolanle A. Oyesanya, managing director at JPMorgan Chase & Co., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in financial services.
Ms. Oyesanya, an established financial services executive, joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a managing director and head of its law firm and professional services group. Since 2023, she has been tasked with private banking of the top U.S. law firms in the industry. Bringing with her over 15 years of relevant experience, she was acquired as a director and private banker at Citi Private Bank, Citigroup Inc., in 2008. Subsequently, she pivoted into managing director for the organization from 2016 to 2021 while also being named a team lead between 2019 and 2021. Moreover, Ms. Oyesanya garnered success as a global market manager for Citigroup Inc.’s New York region, Citi Global Wealth at Work, Law Firm Group, from 2021 to 2023.
Becoming highly educated in her respective field, Ms. Oyesanya received a diploma from Command Secondary School in Nigeria in 1986, a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University) in 1990, and a Bachelor of Laws in law and professional ethics from the Nigerian Law School in 1991. Additionally, Ms. Oyesanya received professional credentials through Stanford University in Leading Through Personal Excellence and The Executive Leadership Council with a Strengthening the Pipeline II certification.
Besides her work-related commitments, Ms. Oyesanya is a professional member of the Women in Finance Association. She also engages in numerous volunteer opportunities, such as Dress for Success, serves on the board for Raise the Children International, and has served as a panel judge for civil rights and social action and as a big sister for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Additionally, Ms. Oyesanya generously sponsors, supports and fundraises for the Tahirih Justice Center and is a volunteer organizer for the Money Management Summit. Crediting the support of her late mother and various mentors who have invested in her career, Ms. Oyesanya has received numerous accolades recognizing her success, including a Finance Catalyst Award from the Council of Urban Professionals in 2019 and an Excellence in Wealth Management from Markets Media in 2021.
