Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership positions at Emcore from 2002 to 2004, Agere Systems from 2001 to 2002, Archive.com from 2001 to 2002, Gateway from 1998 to 2000, and Abbott from 1992 to 1998. Laying an educational foundation, she earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine. She also dedicates her time as a board member for the Los Angeles Leadership Academy, a public charter school serving grades K-12, dedicated to fostering academic excellence, leadership skills, and social justice in a diverse community, since 2004, and as a founding member of Chief in Los Angeles, private network for women executives, providing a supportive community, curated resources, and leadership development to empower members in advancing their careers, since 2021.
Reflecting on her path, Ms. Sheldahl takes pride in her pivotal role in enhancing Hewlett-Packard’s cloud business during her tenure. Collaborating with colleagues in a division focused on the chief revenue officer’s initiatives, she was instrumental in creating and designing a cloud solution that secured significant investment from the board of directors, driving substantial growth in the company’s cloud business.
