Ms. Esquilin has led a rewarding career as the founder and pro bodybuilder at Get Luke Us Physiques since 2019 and as the manager and head trainer at Spa Fitness & Wellness Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina, since 2000. Passionate about health and wellness, her mission is to help her clients get the bodies they want and be more successful through hard work and determination. As such, Ms. Esquilin focuses on their nutrition plans and workout routines, manages their schedules, and more. Her expertise in physical therapy, fitness, muscle building and extreme weight loss has been pivotal to her success and the success of her clients.
Eager to become a pro bodybuilder since college, Ms. Esquilin could not acquire the muscle she needed at the time because she was playing college basketball and running. After having children, however, she decided to pursue her passion in 2011 while in her early 30s. Leveraging her expertise, Ms. Esquilin frequently serves as a guest speaker in her field and has been included on podcasts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Southwestern Community College since 2008 and a second bachelor’s degree in physical education from Fayetteville State University since 2012. Ms. Esquilin also honorably served in the United States Navy for 10 years as an operational specialist for ship navigation communications. Beyond her work-related accomplishments, she is a licensed evangelist through daily walk ministries.
In light of her professional success, Ms. Esquilin was recognized as one of the Top Sales People during her tenure at Bally Total Fitness in 2008, 2009 and 2010. While in the military, she received a U.S. Navy Captain Coin and an Early Promote Award. However, Ms. Esquilin’s most notable achievements were becoming a pro bodybuilder after having four children and weighing 280 pounds, nearly making it to Olympia in her mid-40s in 2020, and helping so many clients experience extreme transformations. Eager about the future of her career, she intends to continue taking on amateur athletes and creating more pros. Her long-term goal is to open her own gym with a powerlifting and bodybuilding section, a section for newcomers, and an environment where everyone feels comfortable. Moreover, Ms. Esquilin envisions becoming one of the top coaches in the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation league.
