Mr. Dyell’s career began at Bay Medical Center as a programmer analyst from 1994 to 1997, where he developed an innovative software application for the hospital’s collection agency. This experience ignited his interest in health care IT, leading him to serve in a consulting capacity for the first time with First Consulting Group between 1997 and 1999. Mr. Dyell then accepted a position as the vice president of sales operations at HIE, where he worked until 2004. His expertise continued to grow at SeeBeyond as a senior director in 2004 and later as the president and chief executive officer of Healthcare Technology Solutions from 2004 to 2008.
In 2008, Mr. Dyell founded iSirona, serving as chief executive officer until 2014. Under his leadership, iSirona became a leader in medical device integration, earning multiple Best in KLAS awards and recognition from Inc. Magazine and Forbes for its rapid growth and workplace excellence. Mr. Dyell’s work at iSirona profoundly impacted patient care, exemplified by a life-saving alert system that detected critical issues in real-time. This innovation not only improved nursing workflows but also enhanced care quality.
Following iSirona, Mr. Dyell held several key positions, including senior vice president of product development at NantHealth in 2014 and chair of G2 Works LLC from 2014 to 2016. He then led Jellyfish Health as the president and chief executive officer between 2014 and 2021, where he created a comprehensive patient engagement platform that modernized patient interaction with health care providers. In 2021, Mr. Dyell pivoted when he became the chief strategy officer at Millennia before assuming his current role in 2023.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Dyell holds multiple patents in health care technology, including systems for real-time patient monitoring and alarm fatigue management.
