Ms. Koch’s prior endeavors includes serving as the director of marketing and admissions at Always Best Care Senior Services of Denver South from 2013 to 2018. In this capacity, she managed a non-medical home care service employing 75 caregivers, although her true passion lay in connecting people with resources rather than managing caregiving operations. Before entering the elder care industry, she worked as an executive assistant to the director at the University of Denver from 2008 to 2012 and the managing director of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association from 2009 to 2012.

Ms. Koch’s academic achievements have been instrumental in shaping her career path in elder path, having initially earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Denver in 1986. She subsequently graduated with a Master of Arts in organizational leadership and project management from the University of Denver in 2012. Her thesis notably focused on aging in Colorado through a mediation lens, exploring family dynamics when adult children become caregivers for their parents.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Koch has been involved in civic organizations. She was active on the board of advisors for the Rocky Mountain Arts Association from 2015 to 2019, She was previously appointed as a board member for the Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics from 2008 to 2011. Ms. Koch’s devotion to helping those in need has been further exemplified by her volunteer work with Wish of a Lifetime and The Honor Flight.

Throughout her career, Ms. Koch has received numerous accolades recognizing her contributions and leadership skills.
