Mr. Kubitz’s most notable achievement came during his tenure as the chief executive officer of Fiserv, Inc., previously known as Lexcel Solutions, from 1994 to 2012. Under his leadership, the aforementioned company developed a groundbreaking product that automated computer testing processes, significantly reducing human error and increasing efficiency. This innovation was instrumental in ensuring Y2K compliance for financial networks worldwide, preventing potential disruptions at the turn of the millennium.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Kubitz honed his technical expertise as a system architect at Valley National Bank of Arizona, which has since been acquired by JPMorgan Chase & Co., and with Tandem Computers, Inc., which merged with Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP, in Cupertino, California until 1982. These roles provided him with invaluable insights into system architecture and technical management, laying the foundation for his myriad future successes.

Before embarking upon his professional path, Mr. Kubitz pursued a formal education, earning a bachelor’s degree in engineering in 1972. Raised in an engineering family, he learned early on the importance of applying education to solve real-world problems—a principle that has guided him throughout his career. Mr. Kubitz is also committed to continuous learning, and is currently pursuing proficiency in German and Spanish.

Beyond his primary endeavors, Mr. Kubitz is actively involved in supporting schools serving children with special needs since 2021. He holds seven patents, underscoring his contributions to technological advancements. Additionally, he is a member of an informal fintech sector networking group, reflecting his ongoing engagement with industry developments.
