Tyler Mandroian, Vice President of Marketing at Space Foundation, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements and leadership in Marketing and Digital Strategy.
Mr. Mandroian has established a distinguished career in marketing and digital communications, marked by a series of progressive leadership roles and significant contributions to the industry. Over the course of 15 years, he has demonstrated expertise in marketing, digital marketing, branding, messaging and data analytics.
In 2023, Mr. Mandroian assumed the position of vice president of marketing at the Space Foundation in Colorado Springs. In this capacity, he manages the marketing department and directs the brand strategy for the Space Foundation, the Space Symposium and the Discovery Center. He is responsible for initiating strategic plans, managing a team of over a dozen professionals, and driving sales and lead generation efforts to support the organization’s nonprofit mission. Mr. Mandroian’s leadership is instrumental in promoting the foundation’s objectives and expanding its influence within the space community.
Mr. Mandroian was affiliated with RefractROI Digital Marketing for 10 years before joining the Space Foundation. From 2022 to 2023, he served as the vice president of marketing operations. Between 2015 and 2022, he was the director of marketing operations, where he led transformative initiatives that grew the business from $250,000 to $3 million in revenue. Notably, his tenure in this role enabled him to help one client’s business increase its revenue from $12 million to $25 million. Among Mr. Mandroian’s proudest achievements, however, was building RefractROI from its inception and fostering professional growth among his team members. Earlier, he worked as a digital strategist and pay-per-click manager for the organization, starting in 2013, where he developed targeted campaigns that drove measurable results for over 200 clients across diverse industries.
Before joining RefractROI Digital Marketing, Mr. Mandroian succeeded as the online marketing manager at Moon Valley Nurseries in Phoenix, Arizona, from 2012 to 2013. His career began shortly before that at TOMA Advertising in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2010, where he served as a media coordinator and interactive specialist. Mr. Mandroian also gained foundational experience as a marketing intern with Impact Marketing Services LLC in 2009.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Mandroian received a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in business and communications from Arizona State University in 2009. The coursework provided him with a strong foundation in both business principles and effective communication.
Mr. Mandroian’s professional journey is complemented by active involvement in industry organizations. Since 2016, he has served as the vice president of networking for the Colorado chapter of the American Marketing Association, where he fosters connections among marketing professionals throughout the state.
Beyond his professional roles, Mr. Mandroian has contributed creatively as a project contributor to Moonvalleynursery.com since 2011, supporting the company’s ongoing digital initiatives. He attributes his success thus far to honesty, passion for his work and a strong work ethic. Notably, Mr. Mandroian’s interest in marketing originated during his childhood, when television commercials sparked his curiosity about consumer behavior and messaging. Working for his family business as a teenager deepened this interest and set him on a path toward a career that seamlessly blends technology with human connection.
Looking ahead, Mr. Mandroian aims to drive the Space Foundation toward becoming indispensable within the space community while supporting workforce development programs for new graduates and veterans entering the space industry. He also maintains a keen interest in artificial intelligence from both professional and intellectual perspectives.
