Since 2009, Mr. Buluran has served as a technical architect at Plantensive, a management advisory firm, where he develops strategies for clients, implements advanced tools and software to streamline processes and eliminate manual work, and recommends solutions that save money, reduce time and increase productivity. He collaborates closely with three other technical architects, working remotely since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Buluran’s tenure at Plantensive is highlighted by his ability to help clients transition from manual spreadsheets to automated systems for demand planning, production and supply chain management. These efforts have resulted in significant cost savings, often amounting to millions of dollars, and have empowered client organizations to proactively address manufacturing and supply challenges. Plantensive’s global reach across North America, Europe and other regions has provided Mr. Buluran with opportunities to impact diverse industries, including wine, food and beverage.

Before joining Plantensive, Mr. Buluran was a technical architect at MEBC from 2017 to 2019. He also excelled as a senior consultant for the organization previously, starting in 2009. Earlier, Mr. Buluran spent five years as a senior analyst at CHEP in Orlando, Florida, from 2004 to 2009. CHEP is headquartered in England and specializes in pooling services for customers worldwide.

Mr. Buluran also served as a senior analyst at Rohm and Haas. Among other roles, he gained success as an analyst at Chelsea Consulting and Campbell’s Soup. His background also included experience in the banking industry with PNC Bank and Citibank in Singapore. In fact, it was during his time at Citibank that he was recruited by a company in New York City seeking information technology professionals. This pivotal opportunity led Mr. Buluran to immigrate to the U.S. on a work visa.

In preparation for his future, Mr. Buluran earned a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering from the University of the City of Manila in 1992. He later pursued additional professional development through certifications from Blue Yonder Group, Inc., including as a sales and operations planning functional consultant, enterprise supply planning functional consultant, demand and fulfillment functional consultant, demand and fulfillment technical consultant, and completion of the JDA S&OP level I certification curriculum exam v2018.1. Mr. Buluran also received a certificate of completion in advanced computer studies from Penn State Great Valley.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Buluran is civically engaged as a supporter of the Tim Tebow Foundation and clean water initiatives across Africa and other countries. He is also an advocate for animal rescue causes as an adoptive pet parent.

Mr. Buluran’s contributions have been recognized with an Achievement Award. He attributes his achievements to resilience, hard work and faith.
