Mr. Mazzoni’s career reflects a distinctive blend of military discipline and technology expertise. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in naval architecture and marine engineering, he began his career as a surface warfare officer in the U.S. Navy. His active-duty service included assignments aboard USS Curtis Wilbur and USS John Paul Jones, followed by a shore tour as the Surface Search and Rescue Model Manager. He later continued his service in the U.S. Navy Reserve with Military Sealift Command, concluding his career at the rank of lieutenant commander.
Following his military service, Mr. Mazzoni transitioned into the technology sector, holding roles at ASML, where he led complex software integration and plasma control initiatives. He subsequently served as the director of client operations for a technology consulting firm, where he became known for building high-performing teams and mentoring professionals across the organization.
At XA3, Mr. Mazzoni focuses on experience-led transformation across customer, partner and employee environments, emphasizing how people interact with systems in real-world conditions. By designing workflows that are intuitive, aligned and context-driven, his teams help organizations enhance usability, improve decision-making and reduce friction in day-to-day operations.
Prior to his designation by Marquis Who’s Who, Mr. Mazzoni was recognized for excellence and impact across both his military and civilian careers. His honors include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, the Humanitarian Service Medal and the Joint Meritorious Unit Award. In 2024, he was also named one of the Top 100 Digital Adoption Platform Professionals by WalkMe.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Mazzoni is active in his community through volunteer work with the Foundation of Hope, supporting its mission: to conquer mental illness by investing in ground-breaking scientific research and mental health initiatives. In his personal time, he enjoys sailing, golfing and amateur radio.
