His tenure as a territory manager for Bryant Northeast, CE, from 2011 to 2019, earned him national distinction by ranking in the top 10 for market share and growth among all Carrier Bryant distributors.
Before entering the business sector, Mr. Staniels dedicated several years to social work, serving juvenile parole clients in Hartford, Connecticut. He also coached Special Olympics basketball teams and provided outreach for gang members recently released from prison. Mr. Staniels later transitioned into vocational rehabilitation as a disability program navigator, helping individuals with physical, emotional and mental disabilities secure employment and educational opportunities through programs funded by the Office of Mental Health and Retardation and the Department of Children and Families. These formative experiences equipped Mr. Staniels with empathy, resourcefulness and a problem-solving mindset that continues to inform his approach to business.
Mr. Staniels’ educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, conferred in 2001. His academic journey began with an initial focus on economics before discovering a passion for sociology, a discipline in which he excelled.
Throughout his career, Mr. Staniels has demonstrated a commitment to professional development and industry engagement.
