Her earlier tenure at Western Union Holdings, Inc., as a user experience designer spanned from 2018 to 2019. Among other professional opportunities, Ms. Jahanmiri was employed by Relola, ON24, Inc., Viator, Inc., Jumpstart Automotive Group and Williams-Sonoma Inc. Ms. Jahanmiri’s earlier career included working as a seasonal design associate at Minted LLC in 2011 and as a graphic designer at Darinoush Artistic & Cultural Institution, dating back to 2005.
Ms. Jahanmiri’s extensive academic background has been foundational to her success. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design at the Sooreh Higher Education Institute in Shiraz in 2005, followed by a Master of Arts in industrial technology from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, in 2008 and a Master of Fine Arts in graphic design from the University of Florida in Gainesville in 2011. Further enhancing Ms. Jahanmiri’s credentials are certifications from General Assembly in user experience design and front-end web development. These credentials have enabled her to stay current with evolving industry standards and technologies.
Active in her professional community, Ms. Jahanmiri is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts. Dedicated to civic involvement and mentorship, she has served as a mentor with General Assembly, guiding aspiring designers through their educational journeys. She has also been affiliated with the Appalachian State University Alumni Association and the University of Florida Alumni Association. Moreover, Ms. Jahanmiri’s volunteer work with the College of the Arts at the University of Florida further demonstrates her commitment to giving back.
Among Ms. Jahanmiri’s most notable achievements was the design of a mobile application that earned a Gold Medal from Corporate Insight for excellence in application design and navigation, a testament to her creative vision and technical acumen.
