Earlier in her career, Ms. Akmehmet Uzun worked as a market research analyst at Time Life Inc. from 2005 to 2007, where she honed her skills in financial, statistical and economic data collection. She also served as a program manager for the Turkish American Business Forum in New York City, facilitating trade relations between Turkey and the U.S. between 2004 and 2005. Ms. Akmehmet Uzun’s professional journey began as a researcher associate at the Turkish Mission to the United Nations from 2003 to 2004, where she gained early exposure to international diplomacy and policy analysis.
