In this capacity, she manages federal and public-sector procurement and workforce policies, translating complex federal and state-level policies for business units. Ms. Malone’s responsibilities include identifying opportunities and challenges within legislative and policy frameworks, advising policy leaders and congressional members on the impacts of decisions and potential legislation, and engaging with industry stakeholders regarding policy priorities.

Before being named to her management position, Ms. Malone was a strategic intelligence and operations fellow at Schneider Electric in 2024, where she leveraged her extensive military background to inform corporate strategy and operations.

Ms. Malone’s professional journey is deeply rooted in her tenure as a U.S. Army intelligence officer, where she held a series of positions that progressed in level of responsibility for over two decades. Her final military assignment was as deputy director, which began in 2021, following service as an executive fellow from 2020 to 2021. Among her earlier roles, Ms. Malone excelled as a chief of operations, deputy director, executive officer, associate dean of students and senior intelligence officer for division operations. Throughout her military career, she operated at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels, primarily in the U.S. during non-deployment periods, and completed two tours in Iraq.

Notably, from 2013 to 2024, Ms. Malone held strategic roles in the Washington, D.C., area supporting both strategic intelligence agencies and U.S. Army policy leaders. Her work focused on leveraging intelligence to inform critical policy and operational decisions. Among Ms. Malone’s most notable achievements was providing strategic recommendations to senior military leaders, including four-star generals, that directly influenced the development and implementation of key policies and operations.

Additionally, Ms. Malone has served as a Hiring Our Heroes committee chair at Schneider Electric since 2025.

Ms. Malone’s exemplary military service has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Bronze Star and several Defense Meritorious Service Medals and Meritorious Service Medals. Her motivation to enlist in the military stemmed from the events of September 11, 2001, a pivotal moment that shaped her commitment to public service. Ms. Malone attributes her success to clearly articulating her goals and building strong relationships with sponsors, mentors and advisors who have supported her throughout her career. She also credits her network and community for enabling many of her accomplishments.
