Sandra Lee Marshall, Senior Director at HTC Global Services, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements and leadership in Health Care Technology.
Ms. Marshall has established a distinguished career in health care information technology, marked by her strategic leadership and innovative contributions across several prominent organizations. Since 2025, she has served as senior director of the health care domain at HTC Global Services, where she focuses on emerging trends in the health care IT market, regulatory mandates, EMR/EHR advancements and competitive positioning. In this capacity, she analyzes overall market direction, identifies growth areas and reviews industry trajectories to determine strategic priorities.
Ms. Marshall serves as the primary domain expert and trusted technical advisor for the Healthcare Business Unit. She collaborates closely with the health care sales department, conducts gap analyses on the company’s product line, conducts thorough needs assessments and discovery sessions to understand client challenges, strategic imperatives, IT infrastructure, operational workflows and pain points, and identifies use cases for automation and Al. Her recommendations address identified product or service gaps. Ms. Marshall is responsible for the development and refining of training programs for the sales and delivery teams and to support the overall growth of HTC Global Services’ health care technology business.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Marshall was director of public health interoperability and IT systems at Altarum from 2023 to 2025. There, she led initiatives to enhance public health data exchange and system integration, working directly with clients to ensure their strategic visions were realized. Her efforts contributed to improved interoperability solutions that supported public health outcomes.
From 2022 to 2023, Ms. Marshall held the position of senior product manager for integrations and interoperability at GHX. She was instrumental in advancing product capabilities that enabled seamless data sharing across health care platforms, furthering her reputation as an expert in interoperability.
Between 2021 and 2022, Ms. Marshall served as vice president of service delivery and support for interoperability and onboarding at Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN)/Velatura HIE Corporation. She led teams responsible for client onboarding and support services, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction while driving operational improvements.
Ms. Marshall’s tenure as program manager for health care technology and PCI compliance/governance at OpenText from 2014 to 2020 saw her overseeing compliance initiatives and governance frameworks critical to secure health care and retail operations. She played a key role in aligning technology solutions with regulatory requirements.
From 2009 to 2014, Ms. Marshall was manager of sales, product/marketing, client services and technology at Tenet Healthcare. In this multifaceted role, she led cross-functional teams in delivering technology-driven solutions that enhanced patient care delivery and successfully led the largest hospital outreach clinical laboratory sales organization in the tri-state area of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. During this period, she developed an interoperability portal that became a cornerstone of her expertise in healthcare technology. Her earlier experience in Healthcare Technology includes serving as business development and field information technology representative at Quest Diagnostics from 2006 to 2009.
Ms. Marshall started her career in the manufacturing sector as a product manager at Brunswick Bowling & Billiards. For her achievements at Brunswick Corporation, she received the ACE Award in both 1990 and 1991. She was the first female to win the award in the company’s history. One of her products in the supply business unit was bowling pins and from this, the concept of Cosmic Bowling was created. Cosmic Bowling remains popular internationally, demonstrating her capacity for innovation and market impact.
Throughout her professional journey, Ms. Marshall has been recognized for her close collaboration with customers, ensuring their goals are met through tailored solutions that emphasize the critical link between automation, artificial intelligence and interoperability in health care IT. She is a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), reflecting her commitment to industry advancement.
Ms. Marshall’s academic background includes a Master of Business Administration in marketing from Baker College Center for Graduate Studies in 2001 and a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and management from Baker College. Her education has provided a strong foundation for her leadership roles and innovative projects throughout her career.
Ms. Marshall has also pursued extensive professional development, earning advanced management training and certification in new product development strategies, quality improvement and finance from Northwestern University. Additional credentials include Six Sigma green belt training from the American Society for Quality in 2009, PCIP certification in payment card industry data security standard compliance in 2016, digital product management certification from University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
Ms. Marshall attributes her success to resilience, a quality honed during the early 1990s when she balanced single parenthood with raising three children while pursuing her Master of Business Administration. Her commitment to lifelong learning and embracing challenges has been central to her achievements. Her civic involvement includes volunteering with EyesOn Design and supporting Stop the Clot, Spread the Word®, underscoring her dedication to community engagement beyond her professional responsibilities.
Outside of her professional commitments, Ms. Marshall enjoys reading, spending time with her granddaughter and working out. Looking ahead, she is dedicated to expanding HTC Global Services’ product line within the health care sector while investing in training and mentoring future leaders to ensure continued organizational success after her eventual retirement.
