His responsibilities include frequent communication with clients, proactive management of potential issues and the deployment, installation, integration and programming of both high-end and stable low-end systems. Mr. Kanjee’s expertise in managing complex multisite global integrations enables secure audio and video sharing across 1,800 client sites worldwide, ensuring uninterrupted communication regardless of internet reliability. He is recognized for his ability to adapt strategies for scaling, from managing 200 conference rooms to overseeing 45,000 globally, and for growing teams to meet evolving project demands.
In addition to his role at Plum-AV, Mr. Kanjee co-founded a2v in 2019, where he also serves as the vice president of operations. Under his leadership, a2v has thrived during challenging periods, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, by partnering with financially stable organizations that invested in significant upgrades to corporate and house-of-worship spaces. As congregations transitioned from in-person services to virtual formats, a2v provided critical support by guiding production processes until volunteers became proficient with new equipment. The company’s growth from one customer to over a dozen recurring clients and numerous one-time contracts reflects Mr. Kanjee’s commitment to purposeful partnerships and highly personalized service. Notably, each department at a2v is led by subject matter experts who deliver comprehensive, tailored solutions rooted in active listening and collaborative problem-solving.
From 2022 to 2024, Mr. Kanjee served as an operations manager at Astreya Inc., overseeing operational workflows and contributing to the company’s reputation for delivering reliable technology solutions on a global scale. Between 2018 and 2022, he worked as a designer at EOS IT Solutions Ltd., a worldwide technology and logistics provider.
In 2018, Mr. Kanjee excelled as a project engineer at SKC Communications, now part of AVI-SPL. He began his career in 2015 as a design engineer at JAVI LLC. In this role, he contributed to projects for global clients such as Apple, Google and Meta. Notably, Mr. Kanjee played a key role in developing a Cyber Incident Report Center for Visa that monitored transactions across the Asia-Pacific region. This was a project where system reliability was paramount, given the high financial stakes associated with even brief downtime.
Dr. Kanjee’s educational background has been instrumental in shaping his expertise. He received a Bachelor of Arts in sound engineering from Texas State University in 2014, a Bachelor of Science in architecture and a Master of Architecture in acoustical architecture from The University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Master of Arts in architectural acoustics from Stanford University in California. While completing his undergraduate studies in San Antonio, he gained practical experience working with architectural firms and collaborating with A/V integrators on projects such as auditoriums, which complemented his academic pursuits by providing hands-on exposure to broadcast environments and high-end commercial spaces.
In addition to his formal education, Dr. Kanjee received several certifications that underscore his technical proficiency. He holds level-two Dante certification from Audinate, is a certified technology specialist, and is LEED-accredited. These credentials have enabled him to deliver scalable solutions that meet rigorous industry standards. Dr. Kanjee is currently pursuing a PhD in acoustic engineering, building upon his previous academic achievements.
Mr. Kanjee’s career is further distinguished by his active membership in several industry organizations, including the Audio Engineering Society, Inc., the Acoustical Society of America, AVIXA and the American Institute of Architects. These affiliations reflect his commitment to professional development and industry standards.
Civic engagement is central to Mr. Kanjee’s life. Since 2009, he has volunteered as a design consultant for Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) and has contributed his time to BAPS Charities. He is also the founder of Inspire With Your Story, a charity that connects young individuals with successful executives through regular virtual sessions designed to foster networking skills and inspire future leaders.
