In this capacity, Mr. Lomax has conducted interviews with 40 top-level executives to gain critical insights into industry challenges and opportunities, and to offer innovative solutions to help organizations navigate the evolving digital landscape.
Having initially joined MediaScience in 2020, Mr. Lomax excelled as the senior vice president of business development until his promotion in 2022. During this period, he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s reach and influence within the industry by leveraging his deep understanding of market trends and client needs.
Before joining MediaScience, Mr. Lomax built a notable tenure at Uber Technologies Inc., beginning as a new partnerships team leader in Seattle, Washington, from 2016 to 2017. He then advanced to account executive in Austin, Texas, until 2018, followed by enterprise account executive in Chicago, Illinois, between 2018 and 2019, and senior enterprise account executive from 2019 to 2020. Among Mr. Lomax’s most significant achievements was forging partnerships with numerous businesses, resulting in $130 million in annual recurring revenue for the company’s UberEats platform. His performance earned him recognition as a top performer on the enterprise team in 2019, as well as being named the number one performer in both Austin and Seattle.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Lomax founded Emerson Enterprises Group (E.E.G.) in Seattle, where he served as the company’s chief executive officer from 2015 to 2017. During that same time frame, he worked in residential leasing and property management at Northwest Apartments. Mr. Lomax’s professional journey also included experience in hospitality as a front office manager at Marriott International, Inc., in Seattle between 2014 and 2016 and in the arts as a principal performing artist at Lomax Industries LLC from 2012 to 2016.
Mr. Lomax earned a high school diploma from TASIS, The American School, in England in 2008. Subsequently, he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, cum laude, from Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University in 2012, followed by additional executive education in leadership and strategy at Harvard Business School in 2019. Mr. Lomax’s ongoing commitment to professional development is demonstrated by several professional credentials through LinkedIn Corporation in generative artificial intelligence, selling to executives and the neuroscience of sales. He also received the TMRE Agile Research certification, among other credentials.
Further reflecting his professional commitments, Mr. Lomax remains active in several industry organizations. He maintains affiliations with the Neuromarketing World Forum, the Association of National Advertisers and the Advertising Research Foundation. Previously, Mr. Lomax served on the Forbes Business Development Council from 2021 to 2023.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Lomax has demonstrated civic engagement through volunteer service with Make-A-Wish America since 2012, as well as performances supporting organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association; The Moyer Foundation, now Eluna; Keiro Northwest; and the Cerdas Foundation.
Mr. Lomax’s contributions have been recognized with several accolades, such as the Cynopsis Standout Award from MediaScience in 2023. He attributes his success to a disciplined work ethic, consistently dedicating himself each day to outreach and continuous learning across multiple facets of media and advertising. Mr. Lomax’s international upbringing under his father’s guidance also fostered proficiency in multiple languages, while exposure to diverse cultures enhanced his adaptability.
