In preparation for his future, Mr. Purewal obtained an associate degree from Yuba College in 2008. The knowledge and skills acquired during his academic journey have been instrumental in shaping his professional success. Mr. Purewal’s commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by his membership in the Transportation Intermediary Association and through his role on the board of the Denim Financial Institution, a trusted factoring partner for freight brokers, trucking companies and 3PLs, since 2021.
Heavily engaged in his community, Mr. Purewal is the founder of the Annual Thanksgiving Feed since 2017. He has also supported the Sikh Temple of Yuba City and domestic violence prevention initiatives since 2009.
In recognition of his professional and philanthropic efforts, Mr. Purewal received accolades such as a President’s Club award from USA Truck Inc. in 2016 and a Philanthropy Award from Sikh Temple Yuba City in 2021. He attributes much of his success to the strong work ethic instilled by his father, who immigrated from India over 30 years ago and served as a significant mentor throughout his life.
