Ms. Kamaleson has cultivated a distinguished career in executive search with a focus on global social impact. Since 2025, she has served as the managing director of social impact at DSG Global. Her role involves conducting executive searches in the global social impact and business sectors, identifying organizational needs when executives retire or resign, and headhunting suitable candidates for leadership roles. Ms. Kamaleson’s expertise is further enriched by her extensive experience in Eastern Europe and Africa. Her reputation and knowledge in the social impact sector have been instrumental in her ability to match candidates with organizations effectively.
In addition to her work at DSG Global LLC, Ms. Kamaleson has been a founding partner of Arcus Development since 2009. Working alongside three founding partners, her global consulting group addresses organizational vulnerability.
A career journey that began in the mid-1990s, Ms. Kamaleson spent her most recent years at Perrett Laver in London from 2012 to 2018, where she honed her skills in global nonprofit practice. She then joined Koya Partners – Diversified Search Group – AltoPartners as the managing director of global impact between 2018 and 2021. Following this, Ms. Kamaleson contributed to August Leadership as a partner in social impact from 2021 to 2023 before becoming a founding partner at Fusion Search Partners until 2025.
Earlier, Ms. Kamaleson worked for companies like Palladium: Make It Possible as a senior director and global human resources and as a strategic advisor to the chief executive officer. She also succeeded at World Vision as a regional coordinator, human business partner, and director of people and culture. Among other roles, Ms. Kamaleson worked for various organizations in Romania as a human resources and communications consultant between 1995 and 1999.
Ms. Kamaleson’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on marketing from the University of Sioux Falls and a master’s degree in human resource development from Azusa Pacific University in 1993. She also completed executive education in governing for nonprofit excellence at Harvard Business School. These academic achievements have provided Ms. Kamaleson with a solid foundation for her career in executive search and human resources.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Kamaleson is actively involved with several civic-minded organizations. She has served on the board of directors for RefuSHE since 2022 and for ChildFund International since 2024. Previously, Ms. Kamaleson was on the board of the Global Fund for Children from 2017 to 2025. Her commitment to philanthropy extends to donations to the Humane Society and volunteering at various cancer charity events.
In recognition of her contributions to women’s empowerment, Ms. Kamaleson received leadership recognition from Women Empowering Women. Her upcoming book, “Between the Bookends: Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells The Story,” will be released in 2026.
