Mr. Fournier’s professional journey spans more than three decades and reflects a commitment to innovation, resilience and collaborative leadership. Since 2023, he has served as the co-owner and chief executive officer of AirRevive in Davie, Florida. In this capacity, Mr. Fournier leads the company in providing heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) services to hotels across the United States.
Taking a horizontal approach to management, Mr. Fournier views himself as a coach standing behind the bench rather than above his team. This philosophy has fostered strong loyalty among colleagues, many of whom have maintained connections with him since their time together at Dorel Industries and other previous roles. Several former associates were eager to join Mr. Fournier again when he launched AirRevive, a testament to the trust and commitment he inspires.
Mr. Fournier’s tenure with his company has also involved close collaboration with business associate Howard Schwartz. Their partnership traces back to Mr. Schwartz’s father, Alan Schwartz, who was a principal at Dorel Industries where they first met. After Howard Schwartz transitioned from Dorel Industries to pursue real estate and forestry projects, Alan Schwartz encouraged him to move to Florida to help revitalize his son’s business following pandemic-related challenges. Together, their focus has centered on extending the life cycle of fan coil units, air handlers at the end of water loops in large buildings, such as hotels, including the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne and properties in Miami and Naples. These systems are energy-efficient but complex and costly to replace. Mr. Fournier’s team specializes in refurbishing these units by replacing faulty components while preserving functioning parts, thus ensuring continued performance and sustainability.
Originally hailing from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Mr. Fournier relocated from Montreal after a successful career as an M&A lawyer seeking new opportunities in Florida’s dynamic market environment. Invited by friends who owned AirRevive to help reset the company during a pivotal period, he accepted an equity partnership role that allowed him not only professional growth but also personal fulfillment through building lasting relationships within his team.
In addition to his leadership at AirRevive, Mr. Fournier is a board member and shareholder of Solutions Nexarts Inc., a role he has held since 2017. He previously served as the chief executive officer of Les Entreprises Marc Saulnier in Lavaltrie, Quebec, Canada, from 2021 to 2023. During this period, he also contributed as a business development partner at Soluqual in Quebec from 2017 to 2023, as a board director and chair of the governance, integrity and human resources committee, as well as a member of the audit committee for Coffrages Synergy Formwork in Lavaltrie during that same time frame.
Leveraging his leadership expertise, Mr. Fournier served as the president of Ameriwood Home in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, from 2019 to 2021. His earlier career included significant legal roles at Dorel Industries Inc., where he served as the vice-president and general counsel for both corporate and juvenile segments for two years, beginning in 2017, after holding the position of vice-president and general counsel between 2016 and 2017. Mr. Fournier was also the general counsel and transaction adviser from 2014 to 2016 and, before that, the corporate legal counsel between 2012 and 2014.
Before his work at Dorel Industries Inc., Mr. Fournier held the role of president at Cunningham Partners Consultants from 2010 to 2013. He also held interim director responsibilities for customer and technical services at Atis Group in Longueuil and Terrebonne during 2010 and 2011 while serving as the director of legal affairs for Atis Group from 2009 to 2011. Mr. Fournier’s legal foundation was established as a lawyer with Lavery de Billy in Montréal between 2007 and 2009.
Mr. Fournier’s career began with service in the Canadian Armed Forces as a mechanical technician from 1996 to 2003. This formative experience instilled discipline, technical expertise and an appreciation for teamwork that would later inform his leadership style across diverse industries.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Fournier earned a Bachelor of Laws from the Université de Montréal and a Master of Business Administration from HEC Montréal. The combination of legal acumen and advanced business training has enabled him to navigate complex transactions, guide organizational strategy and drive growth initiatives throughout his career.
Active within industry and civic circles, Mr. Fournier has been a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers since 2024, as well as the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Superyacht Association. He previously held board appointments, more recently serving on the board of Collège Stanislas from 2016 to 2020.
Resilience stands at the core of Mr. Fournier’s philosophy, a quality he credits for his ongoing success amid inevitable setbacks faced by entrepreneurs. He believes that progress is achieved by persisting through adversity until goals are realized.

While already operating on a nationwide scale with projects spanning major cities, he is dedicated to solidifying AirRevive’s status as a prominent national entity with local reach under its registered tagline, “Cooling the Nation.” Central to this mission is promoting sustainable maintenance practices for existing HVAC assets while pursuing breakthroughs in water-based cooling technology, a response to environmental concerns associated with traditional refrigerants. Additionally, Mr. Fournier envisions making water-based systems affordable for every family in America by developing efficient solutions that minimize pollution without imposing prohibitive costs or installation barriers.
