Joan Schaupp, Trucking Executive, Writer at P & S Investment Co. Inc. , has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in transportation.
Dr. Schaupp has long followed what has interested her in her career, spending time as an executive of the trucking company, a theologian, a writer, a farmer and gardener. Her entrepreneurial spirit has transcended throughout her family, where along with her husband, they have positioned their children and grandchildren to be stewards of the family business, land and family. Dr. Schaupp has served in the chairman roles of P & S. Investment Co. Inc. since the early 1980s. Prior to taking on these roles, she gained experiences as the secretary-treasurer and director of LCL Bulk Transport, Inc. from 1962 to 1970, and with her career as a writer and editor for Green Bay Press-Gazette, Ephram Publishing. She is also a founder of Manna Farm.
With a world of possibilities laid out before her, Dr. Schaupp first earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, cum laude, in 1954. She returned to her academic pursuits at the institution in the 80s, receiving a Master of Arts in 1982. In addition, she explored the spiritual aspects of her life by receiving a DMin from the Graduate Theological Foundation in 1996. In 1979, she received a certificate in theology from St. Norbert College.
In recognition of the hard work she has put into her career, family and community through the years, Dr. Schaupp has been recognized on numerous occasions. In 1975, she was the recipient of the Thomas More Book Award. In 1997, she was presented with an Ambassador Award. In 2004, St. Norbert College recognized her with a Distinguished Citizenship Award and a Distinguished Service Award. Ms. Schaupp has been the recipient of a Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award.
