Drawing on more than four decades of experience, Mr. Cassidy is a proven leader in his chosen field. Specializing in welding and industrial hydraulics manufacturing, he has served as the president of Wisconsin Water Jet since 2016. Mr. Cassidy began his company from scratch, and it remains largely focused on revolutionizing the field of water jet machining and welding by implementing new strategies and technologies that improve product quality and turnaround. Likewise, the company is well-regarded for utilizing manufacturing methods that are non-harmful to the environment.
Thanks to Mr. Cassidy’s leadership, Wisconsin Water Jet has cultivated fruitful relationships with professionals in the aerospace, automotive, military, medical and transportation industries, to name a few. This is thanks largely in part to their high-quality products and tools, crafted from materials such as aluminum, carbon and stainless steel, composites, and stone. Prior to beginning his own business, Mr. Cassidy accrued a wealth of experience working as a manager for JARP Industries from the onset of his career in 1983 until 2015.
In his other professional endeavors, Mr. Cassidy previously held an administrative role within Wausau Hydraulics and Machine Inc. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, he pursued a formal education, completing collegiate coursework in business management. He subsequently earned several pertinent certifications pertaining to his work in the field. To wit, Mr. Cassidy was certified as a welder by the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, and he was also trained as an ISO auditor.
Adjacent to his primary professional interests, Mr. Cassidy also remains active as a civic-minded citizen, regularly participating with GiGi’s Playhouse, an organization dedicated to helping children with Down syndrome. Furthermore, his company continues to participate with groups such as the 89Q radio network and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Marshfield. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Cassidy has largely attributed his success to his dedication to high-quality work and product creation, which he knows others appreciate. He is notably proud to have started his own business at the age of 52, and in the coming years, he looks forward to further involving himself in the hydraulics industry.
