With many years of experience to his credit, Mr. McBride has found success as the executive chef for Sto Lat Bar in Buffalo, New York since 2020, the co-owner and executive chef for Simply Pierogi in Buffalo and Pierogi Pete’s in Niagara, New York since 2019, and the general manager for Chrusciki Bakery in Buffalo and Niagara since 2019. Prior to these positions, he was active as the executive chef for The Prairie Club in Valentine, Nebraska from 2014 to 2018. He previously excelled in the field of law enforcement, beginning his career as a correctional officer with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado before becoming the chief of police by the age of 31. Outside of his primary endeavors, Mr. McBride has contributed to his community through Hope Rises, Chrusciki Champions, and his local chapter of Lions Club International.
Before pursuing his ambitions as a restaurateur, Mr. McBride served for a number of years in the U.S. Navy. He subsequently obtained an associate’s degree in culinary arts from the Culinary Institute of Arts Colorado in 1999. As a testament to his stellar professional efforts, he was presented with a Law Enforcement Award. Attributing his success to the unwavering support of his wife, who was his high school sweetheart, as well as his fantastic parents, Mr. McBride is incredibly proud of his work as a police officer in addition to the opportunity to train many young professionals who have advanced careers. In the coming years, Mr. McBride hopes to establish more franchises for Pierogi Pete’s in the upper northeast area.
