With a career spanning over 15 years in law enforcement and emergency management, Mr. Pasciak has accumulated a wealth of experience and expertise in public safety administration. His academic journey began with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and safety studies from Lewis University in 2006, followed by a master’s degree in public safety administration from the same institution in 2012. Throughout his career, he also pursued numerous certifications, such as a certified chemical and impact munitions, aerosol, and noise flash diversionary device instructor, taser instructor, explosives handler, and defensive tactics instructor, among others, demonstrating his commitment to professional development and proficiency in diverse areas of expertise.
Mr. Pasciak’s career has been defined by his unwavering dedication to public safety and emergency management. Starting as a police officer in the city of Warrenville from 2006 to 2016, he honed his skills in law enforcement, gradually advancing to roles such as problem-oriented policing investigator and police detective. His commitment to ensuring the safety of his community led him to take on additional responsibilities, including serving as the emergency management coordinator for Warrenville from 2018 to 2019. Transitioning to the role of emergency management officer at Argonne National Laboratory in 2019, he brought his wealth of experience to a new setting, where he continues to excel in safeguarding personnel and assets. Currently serving as the emergency services manager at Argonne National Laboratory since 2021, he plays a pivotal role in orchestrating and implementing emergency response protocols, ensuring the highest standards of safety and preparedness are maintained at all times.
Mr. Pasciak attributes much of his success to his early involvement in the Police Explorers Program, which instilled in him a sense of duty and responsibility towards his community. His commitment to public service and his ability to build strong relationships within his industry has been instrumental in his career advancement and accomplishments. Outside of his professional endeavors, he has been actively involved in civic organizations and youth programs, serving as an advisor for the Warrenville Police Department Explorer Post and coaching youth soccer.
Looking ahead, Mr. Pasciak is focused on furthering his career at Argonne National Laboratory, where he currently serves as the emergency services manager. He aims to continue making significant contributions to the safety and security of the laboratory, creating a conducive work environment where employees can thrive and excel in their scientific endeavors.
