Lucas Thelosen, head of product, data, and AI cloud for industries at Google, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in data and artificial intelligence.
With nearly 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Thelosen has excelled as head of product, data, and AI cloud at Google since 2022. He immigrated to the United States in 2005 before beginning his career as an analyst at Deutscher Bundestag in 2005 and at Opportunity International in 2006. He worked as a research assistant at the University of Muenster from 2006 to 2007 and as an analyst at First Affirmative Financial Network from 2008 to 2009. At Slow Money, he contributed as a business development and technology manager from 2009 to 2010.
Mr. Thelosen continued his career as team lead of operations and analytics at Urban Lending Solutions from 2011 to 2012. He established himself as director at Operations and Analytics Craftsy from 2012 to 2015. He found success as chief executive officer and founder of DAS42 from 2015 to 2017. He was active as vice president of professional services at Looker from 2017 to 2022. Concurrently, he garnered a stellar reputation as head of data analytics consulting in the Americas and APAC from 2019 to 2022 and as a guest lecturer at the University of Colorado in 2022.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Thelosen pursued an education at the University of Münster, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science. Beyond his responsibilities within the field, he has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He held the role of chair of the energy committee at the Sierra Club Environment. He contributed to Habitat for Humanity International Poverty Alleviation.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Thelosen has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with several Google Achievement Awards. In the immediate future, he intends to join several boards and build his reputation outside of Google. Additionally, he plans to finish writing a book on how to be successful in the artificial intelligence space.
