With 27 years of dedicated service in law enforcement and education, Dr. Trigg has established himself as a leading figure in the fields of school safety and law enforcement training. As the chief executive officer of Infinite Training and Consulting LLC since its inception, he oversees a firm that delivers critical training and consulting services to educational institutions, specializing in school safety, threat assessment, de-escalation techniques and active shooter situations. His profound experience, derived from over two and a half decades as a police officer, directly informs the comprehensive curriculum and services his company offers.

Dr. Trigg began his career with the New Brunswick Police Department in 1994, where he served until 2020. Throughout his tenure, he specialized in narcotics, gangs, street crimes, and community policing, ultimately retiring with the rank of lieutenant. His commitment to community safety and youth education was highlighted through his impactful work as a D.A.R.E. and G.R.E.A.T. officer, where he educated over 25,000 children on the dangers of drugs and gang involvement.

Parallel to his police work, Dr. Trigg has been an influential educator, serving as an adjunct professor at Middlesex College since 2009 and at Kean University since 2022. His academic roles are complemented by his positions as a substitute teacher, which he has held since 2020, addressing the teacher shortage in New Jersey by teaching subjects including eighth-grade math.

Dr. Trigg’s academic credentials are extensive. He earned a Bachelor of Science in administration of justice from Rutgers University in 1993, followed by a Master of Arts in human resources training and development in 2006, an education specialist degree in 2011, and a Doctor of Education in higher education, all from Seton Hall University. In 2020, he expanded his qualifications by becoming a licensed New Jersey private investigator and a New Jersey security officer registration act instructor.

His scholarly pursuits have led to significant publications, including “Play it Safe: A Teens Guide to Personal Safety, Phone Safety, and Police Safety” in 2022 and “Keep Them Safe: An Educator’s Guide to School Safety, Digital Safety and Personal Safety” in 2023. These works reflect his ongoing commitment to community safety and education.

Outside his professional life, Dr. Trigg is an avid volunteer and has been a disc jockey for local youth sports leagues. His dedication has earned him several accolades, including a Lifesaving Award and recognition as a New Jersey State P.B.A. Meritorious Service Honoree.

Looking ahead, Dr. Trigg plans to expand Infinite Training and Consulting and continue authoring influential publications that aim to enhance community safety. He attributes his success to the strong work ethic instilled by his parents and his relentless pursuit of excellence in both law enforcement and education. His advice to those aspiring to work in his industry emphasizes the importance of hard work, dedication and the value of observing experienced professionals in action.
