With many years of experience to his credit, Mr. Gibson has excelled as the chief executive officer and owner of RDG Communications Group, LLC since 2019 and the president of Maloy PR LLC since 2021. A citizen of the Cherokee Nation who was raised in a Native American culture, Mr. Gibson faced a number of unique challenges in the field of public relations, including an understood requirement to be in the public eye, but believes his clear advancement as a publicist will inspire other Native Americans to follow in his footsteps.

Beyond his primary responsibilities, Mr. Gibson has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his immediate circles. A former parks board commissioner and transportation board representative with the City of Norman, Oklahoma, he has likewise found success with his volunteer efforts with the Disaster Communications Committee for the American National Red Cross, the Mesquite Pee Wee Football Association, and the Graduated Sanctions Court/School Program for Teens in Oklahoma. Furthermore, Mr. Gibson has been a member of the Game Day Radio Crew for Westwood One and Campus Media Networks since 2014.

In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Gibson has accrued several accolades throughout his career. The recipient of The Upper Case Award from The Public Relations Society of America Inc., he has been presented with a number of awards from MarCom, including a Platinum Award, two Gold Awards, and a MarCom Award in 2019. Most recently, RDG Communications Group, LLC was recognized as The Best Independent Public Relations Agency in the Western United States at The American Business Awards in 2023.

Mr. Gibson has attributed his success to the invaluable and deeply appreciated support of his family, who stood behind his decision to depart from his full-time job and establish RDG Communications Group, LLC. Renowned for his confidence and his ambition, he has notably emphasized the importance of identifying and respecting cultural differences in the workplace as the cornerstone of his work in public relations. Among his proudest achievements, he fondly recalls representing The Libera Boys Choir from London throughout their U.S. tour since 2019, including their high-profile performances in Washington, D.C., New York City, and Los Angeles, California. Looking toward the future, Mr. Gibson hopes to establish a company and legacy that can endure beyond his retirement while continuing to benefit his family and the next generations of public relations professionals.
