Dr. James E. Gee, pastor at God is Able Ministry and God is Able Ministry International, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in education and ministry.

With two and a half decades of experience, Dr. Gee has built a successful career in education and ministry. He currently serves as a social services minister at Sacred Heart Southern Missions, a position he has held since 2023, and as a professor of business at Central Texas College since 2013. His experience includes serving as a senior army instructor for the U.S. Army JROTC from 2014 to 2023, and he also owns an online store on Amazon. Earlier in his career, he retired as a major from the U.S. Army in 2013, following a career that began in 1991. Additionally, he has served as a pastor for 25 years, including at God Is Able Ministry International since 2008 and at Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. He is a member of the Association of the United States Army and the Air Force Manpower Analysis Agency. Laying a solid educational education, he earned a bachelor’s degree in history and political science, a Master of Business Administration in business management and human resources from Atlantic International University in 2005, and a Doctor of Business Administration from the same institution in 2022.

Reflecting on his path, Dr. Gee shares that ministry had been a calling ingrained in him since childhood. While he was deeply committed, he recognized that experience would come with time. His heart had always been drawn to Africa, inspired by the people he saw on television. He finds fulfillment in making others happy. His motivations were never about seeking recognition but rather being a source of blessing to those around him. When he was considering military service, he was faced with the unexpected responsibility of raising a young son. A pivotal interaction with a military mentor provided invaluable guidance, urging him to remain in the military and take responsibility for his child. Heeding this advice, he retired with a distinguished rank, acknowledging that without his mentor’s influence, his life could have taken a vastly different path.

Dr. Gee attributes his success to God, family, perseverance, faith, and love. He is deeply committed to being a visionary leader within both his community and family, with a focus on improving the lives of underprivileged communities across the world. As a strong advocate for change, he dedicates himself to inspiring others to strive for excellence and become better individuals. One of his long-term goals is to establish a school or academy that reflects his vision named God Is Able Ministry Academy For All People. He envisions starting this institution in Mississippi to address the region’s educational challenges, particularly the low levels of education. The academy will serve as a place of restoration, offering a robust educational foundation integrated with biblical teachings, and will prepare students to face the challenges of higher education and life in general. In addition to his ministry work, he is exploring the field of financial advising and is dedicated to creating a better world through education, business, and community service.
