Laying a solid educational foundation, he earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Washington Adventist University in 1989 and a Master of Business Administration in business and finance from Averett University in 1991. He attributes his success to the influence of his father, a former Marine who played a supportive role in his life and mentored other young men in a positive and impactful way.
