His career began as an emergency medical dispatcher, where he developed a passion for helping others following a life-saving experience during his youth.
Mr. Sartain’s military service as a combat medic with the U.S. Army from 2018 to 2022 played a pivotal role in shaping his professional journey. Stationed in El Paso, Texas, he honed critical skills that have been instrumental in his success. Likewise, his military background instilled discipline and critical thinking abilities that continue to influence his work to this day.
To support his ambitions, Mr. Sartain pursued an education at Purdue University Global, from which he initially earned an Associate of Science in health science in 2021. He subsequently concluded his studies at the aforementioned university in 2022, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in fire and emergency management in 2022. Numerous certifications complement his academic acumen, including paramedic credentials from the State of Alabama and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Mr. Sartain also obtained certifications in advanced cardiovascular life support, pediatric advanced life support, basic life support, and Microsoft systems.
Mr. Sartain’s dedication extends beyond his professional endeavors to civic involvement as a member of the Elgin Volunteer Fire Department. His contributions have been recognized with several accolades, including the Soldier of the Cycle at the National Training Center in 2019 and three Life Saver Awards. He was also decorated with the Army Achievement Medal and was selected for the Chancellor’s List at Purdue University Global.
Born in Rogersville, Mr. Sartain is a devoted father to two children—a daughter born in 2020 and a son born in 2021. He finds much satisfaction in farming and is committed to making a positive impact on society through various initiatives. As he looks forward to advancing his career toward a regional director position within Lifeguard Ambulance Service LLC, Mr. Sartain remains focused on balancing professional growth with family commitments.
