He is also heavily involved in managing financial services, including life insurance, disability coverage and various financial products and investments. Mr. Chapman’s expertise in property financial services and home and automobile insurance has been critical to his success.
Before pivoting into agency ownership, Mr. Chapman garnered experience as a field sales leader for Allstate from 2008 to 2015. Subsequently, he was promoted to territory sales lead until 2020. These foundational roles set the foundation for his future success. Apart from his time with Allstate, Mr. Chapman excelled in sales as a district sales manager for Paychex Agency Inc. between 2004 and 2008.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Chapman studied at Alfred University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in business in 2003. Highly qualified in his industry, he received a designation as a financial services certified professional from the American College of Financial Services. He also holds licensure as a life, accident and health insurance agent through the New York Department of Financial Services, as a New York State property and casualty agent by the United Latino Students Association, and holds Series 6, 63, 26, and 51 licenses.
As a dedicated member of his community, Mr. Chapman joined the Boy Scouts of America while coming of age, earning the rank of Eagle Scout. He also became affiliated with the Pittsburgh Panthers and the Bristol Mountain Freestyle Team.
Recognizing the competitive nature of his work, Mr. Chapman aspires to stand out in the insurance field as a leading authority best known for his dedication, service, expertise, credibility and integrity. As such, he diligently works to network with other like-minded professionals, which he believes is a crucial component of success in entrepreneurship. As a business owner, Mr. Chapman constantly seeks new opportunities to help him forge meaningful relationships and expand his professional network.
Enthusiastic about future growth at J. Chapman Inc., Mr. Chapman aims to expand his agency by establishing multiple distribution points. By launching a secondary long-term location, possibly in New York or another big city, he will earn the attention to properly promote his brand while improving customer service through multiple locations. Outside of his career goals with Allstate, Mr. Chapman aims to embark on another business venture, such as real estate rentals.
Attributing his accomplishments thus far to his persistence and dedication, Mr. Chapman notes that it is difficult to find individuals as committed to success as he has been. He is also grateful to his father, an exceptional role model who became disabled after breaking his back when Mr. Chapman and his twin brother were just six months old. Despite his setback, he found inspiration in his father, a selfless individual who was always present and volunteered extensively.
