He is additionally active as the founder and chief investigator with New York Private Detective Services, which he established in 2016, and Guardian Angel Investigations, a Nevada-based private investigation agency he launched in 2022. In the years prior, he worked as the manager for Trusted Advisors Investigations, LLC from 2013 to 2015 and both the executive vice president and chief investigator at Bo Dietl & Associates from 2010 to 2014.
Mr. Pucci’s career began with a decade-long tenure at the New York City Police Department, where he served as a detective. His selection into the Cadet Corps of the department was a notable milestone that laid the foundation for his future endeavors in law enforcement and private investigation. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved with organizations such as the National Association of Legal Investigators, the National Police Defense Foundation, and the Society of Professional Investigators. To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Pucci obtained a Bachelor of Science in criminology with a minor in criminal justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, part of the City University of New York system, in 1996.
In addition to his primary responsibilities, Mr. Pucci is dedicated to civic engagement through pro bono investigations for families and his roles as founder and chief executive officer of the National Institute for Law & Justice since 2021. As a testament to his stellar achievements, he was presented with the Alexander Smith Award from John Jay College as well as the John D. Calandra Award. In the coming years, he hopes to expand his professional endeavors by hiring additional staff to manage an increasing caseload and securing consistent funding through government grants and institutional support. Mr. Pucci’s ultimate goal is to positively impact hundreds of families annually through his work while ensuring that his successes and reputation continue to grow within the industry.
