Shrenik Dagli, senior vice president and group head of artificial intelligence (AI), data and analytics at QBE Insurance, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in financial technology.
Mr. Dagli is recognized as a veteran in his field, currently serving as the group head of AI, data, and analysis at QUB Insurance in New Jersey since 2023. Responsible for running the AI across the enterprise, he also collaborates with several external leaders. Mr. Dagli’s expertise in AI engineering and execution has been instrumental in his success. Based in New South Wales, QBE Insurance Group is an international insurance and reinsurance company that offers a variety of products and services for individuals and businesses.
Beginning his career with QBE in 2016, Mr. Dagli was the head of technology for digital and insurance programs for over five years. He also garnered success as a data and fintech consultant at Bank of America from 2015 to 2016, was the co-founder of Khelo Jiyo, a sports networking platform, between 2015 and 2016, excelled as the executive director and head of prime information technology at Scotiabank from 2010 to 2015, and was involved in risk and margin IT for prime brokerage at Deutsch Bank between 2008 and 2010. Mr. Dagli’s earlier career saw him in various roles with Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley and Kencraft India Pvt. Ltd., dating back to the early 1990s. His tenure at Scotiabank was particularly notable, as he was instrumental in increasing its topline, culminating in nearly $20 billion in assets under management within just two years.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Dagli became highly educated, earning a Bachelor of Science in electronics engineering from the University of Mumbai in 1997 and a Master of Science in biomedical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1999. Besides his education, he is active in his industry on the product advisory board at Databricks. Civically, Mr. Dagli enjoys volunteering for various worthy causes, such as HomeFront, the American Diabetes Association, and the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, in multiple roles. His success has earned him an AI Impact Award from Novarica and Datos Insights, a testament to his hard work and dedication to his field. Mr. Dagli remains eager to progress in his industry while also developing a platform to tackle adolescent mental health issues, which he has become very passionate about addressing.
