Olufemi Abraham Arosanyin, chief executive officer at IHS Cameroon S.A., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in telecommunications.
With over two and a half decades of experience, Mr. Arosanyin has established a successful career in telecommunications, currently serving as the chief executive officer of IHS Cameroon S.A. since 2023. In this role, he oversees operations in Cameroon, providing infrastructure to support mobile communication for the country’s population. He drives strategy, engages with stakeholders, manages network operations, and improves service delivery efficiency. His experience also includes chief commercial officer and commercial lead for Tower Infrastructure Company, IHS Towers, Nigeria, from 2016 to 2023, and key account director at Lars Magnus Ericsson Nigeria Limited from 2014 to 2016. He also served as managing director for Lars Magnus Ericsson Nigeria Limited in Douala, Cameroon, and key account manager for Ericsson Cameroon S.A. from 2012 to 2014. Earlier in his career, he held positions as head of sales and account manager at Lars Magnus Ericsson Nigeria Limited, systems engineer at Aperto Networks, and senior engineer and project manager at Telecom Technologies International Limited.
Laying an educational foundation, Mr. Arosanyin earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, a diploma in satellite applications and systems engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a master’s degree in space studies from the International Space University. He has completed executive education programs at institutions including Harvard Business School and London Business School.
Reflecting on his path, Mr. Arosanyin has significantly advanced telecommunications in Cameroon by contributing to the development of a fourth-generation network and expanding mobile broadband services, essential during the COVID-19 pandemic. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has received the Three Categories Award for Community-Based Information, the Top 100 Telecom Companies Award, and the Telecompany Regional Award for Africa. He attributes his success to empathy and a strong commitment to community development, values instilled by his family.
