Furthermore, he began clerking for the Law Offices of Anthony E. Patterson, Esq., Martin A. Dietz, Esq., and Brandy L. Flaherty, Esq., in 2014, where he has supported attorneys with case preparation and research, providing him with invaluable exposure to various aspects of legal practice.
From 2023 to 2024, Mr. Streets held the position of paralegal at Apessos Law LLC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this role, he managed case files and provided litigation support to attorneys. His tenure as a litigation paralegal at Friday & Cox LLC in Pittsburgh from 2015 to 2023 stands out as a significant milestone in his career. During this period, he worked directly with the owner on personal injury cases and was pivotal in securing a $4.5 million settlement for a plaintiff who suffered an industrial accident resulting in the loss of an arm. This achievement not only demonstrated his professional acumen but also allowed Mr. Streets to build meaningful relationships with clients and their families during challenging times.
In 2015, Mr. Streets succeeded as a legal assistant at the Law Office of Lawrence F. Leventon PC, where he supported attorneys with administrative tasks and legal documentation. His early experience included working as a paralegal intern at Neighborhood Attorneys LLC in Washington, Pennsylvania, in 2013, and as a foreman at Ed Bayer Design between 2011 and 2013.
Mr. Streets’s academic background laid a strong foundation for his achievements in the legal profession. He completed a Bachelor of Science in criminology and sociology with a minor in psychology from Florida Southern College in 2009. Mr. Streets later garnered a post-bachelor certificate in paralegal studies in 2013 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2018 from Duquesne University.
Civically engaged, Mr. Streets is an active member of the United Methodist Church and participates broadly in community-oriented organizations. His commitment is further reflected by his membership in his local chamber of commerce.
Throughout his career, Mr. Streets has developed expertise in family, criminal, corporate and real estate law, as well as estate drafting and administration. Initially drawn to criminology out of a desire to serve others, and motivated by positive interactions with police officers, he considered becoming a police officer before ultimately choosing law at his father’s urging. Growing up with three older brothers who went on to achieve remarkable success, including an orthopedic surgeon who served in the U.S. Navy in Afghanistan, an architect, and a third who holds a doctorate in physical therapy, their collective ambition fostered a culture of mutual encouragement and high achievement within the family unit. Steadfast about his future, Mr. Streets is committed to expanding Myers Law Group PLLC significantly and is enthusiastic about contributing to its ongoing growth and success within the legal industry.
