Ali Firoozi, chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of The PAC Group, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in finance.
Devoting nearly 30 years to his professional life thus far, Mr. Firoozi has served as the chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of The PAC Group since 2014. The PAC Group collaborates with companies around the world in complex projects, including infrastructure, logistics, manufacturing, robotics and more. As a key part of the organization, Mr. Firoozi manages accounting, administrative work, finance and human resources. He aids in negotiations with clients and reviews all financial reporting for the company. Furthermore, Mr. Firoozi ensures that quarterly reports are produced and heads monthly, quarterly and annual reviews with many employees. He also helps ensure The PAC Group’s consistency in operations across different countries, which is essential for a global company.
Prior to joining The PAC Group, Mr. Firoozi gained experience as a financial center manager with Logix Federal Credit Union. He previously contributed as a vice president and financial center manager with JPMorgan Chase. Mr. Firoozi established his career as a financial center manager with Washington Mutual Bank in 1997. He has prided himself on continuing to learn and grow throughout his work life, always striving to provide strong leadership and a collaborative environment.
Among his many professional accomplishments, Mr. Firoozi considers his time at The PAC Group to feature his greatest achievements so far. Under his guidance, the company has grown substantially in the decade since his arrival. Mr. Firoozi has seen some of the largest organizations in the world become PAC Group clients, including Amazon, Ford and General Motors. He has also initiated what he refers to as the company’s “technology revolution” six years ago, upgrading all of the software, hardware, processes and procedures for virtually every aspect and setting The PAC Group up for continued success long into the future.
Before venturing onto his vocational path, Mr. Firoozi dedicated himself to his own education. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in international finance and prelaw from Loyola Marymount University in 2001. Subsequently, Mr. Firoozi earned a Master of Business Administration in finance from California State University Northridge in 2007. Most recently, he was certified as a financial analyst by the CFA Institute and completed additional certification from ExecRank’s financial oversight advisory council.
A volunteer within his local community, Mr. Firoozi also commits his time to efforts he is passionate about outside of business. He has supported New Friends Homeless Center for more than five years, helping Los Angeles’ unhoused population receive food and care. Mr. Firoozi spent nearly 10 years as a team organizer and event planner for Community Active Neighbors, a group focused on raising money for schools in the area. Aware of the importance of mentorship in professional and personal development, he was a volunteer mentor through Torch and has been a rising star mentor with Everwise since 2017.
With plans to continue in his core roles at The PAC Group into the foreseeable future, Mr. Firoozi hopes to leave a meaningful legacy at the company. In addition to building structures that will carry the company in the years ahead, he also intends to develop more altruistic efforts within the organization. Mr. Firoozi envisions tripling the size of The PAC Group within the next seven years. He also intends to explore teaching in his future, as well as the possibility of establishing a nonprofit centered on financial literacy.
