Hired as a senior software engineer in 2016, Mr. Srinivasan has been credited with developing software products for customer service management and cloud management. In 2021, he became a staff software engineer, further advancing his career.

For nearly a decade prior, Mr. Srinivasan served as a senior software engineer and project lead at Oracle, where he played an integral role in human capital management by developing software products for recruitment and talent management. His technical acumen and customer-centric approach have been instrumental in driving successful outcomes for Oracle’s clients. Among Mr. Srinivasan’s most significant professional achievements during this time was the attainment of a patent for his work with Oracle, underscoring his innovative contributions to the field.

Before joining Oracle in 2016, Mr. Srinivasan held the position of senior technical manager at Dun & Bradstreet. He also briefly worked for Sakaa Solutions as a requirements analyst, project manager, architect and developer. Earlier, he spent a year as a project manager, architect, developer and quality enforcer for Quality Workbench. Mr. Srinivasan’s foundational role took place at the Tata Group in India, as a software engineer and database designer beginning in 2007. His experience at the Tata Group provided him with foundational knowledge in large-scale enterprise environments, contributing significantly to his professional growth.

Mr. Srinivasan’s academic background has been integral to his success. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering in computer engineering from SGSITS in 1997, which laid the groundwork for his proficiency in software systems and engineering principles. He then acquired a master’s degree through Columbia University’s executive education program in 2019, equipping him with advanced leadership and management skills that complemented his technical expertise. In addition to his formal education, Mr. Srinivasan has obtained certification as an international journal reviewer, reflecting his commitment to maintaining high standards within the academic and professional communities.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Srinivasan is actively engaged in civic initiatives and philanthropic efforts. He has served as the chair for various conferences, demonstrating leadership within the broader scientific community. As a regular donor to the American Red Cross, he exemplifies a strong commitment to humanitarian causes. Moreover, Mr. Srinivasan supports the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund and the Cancer Research Hospital through regular donations.

Mr. Srinivasan’s intellectual contributions extend to authorship of various publications on information theory and quantum systems, further establishing him as a thought leader in these domains.  A highlight of his career is his latest scholarly contribution, which is currently pending publication. This work integrates the foundational theories of Claude Shannon, renowned for formulating the concept of entropy in information theory, and Floris Takens, a noted environmental scientist. Through rigorous experimentation, Mr. Srinivasan has demonstrated how their theories can be combined to offer an alternative formulation of entropy. This development holds promise for advancing both theoretical understanding and practical applications in the field of information science.

Mr. Srinivasan’s perseverance has been a driving force throughout his career, enabling him to overcome challenges and achieve sustained excellence across multiple roles and organizations.
