In this capacity, Ms. Copeland also engages in extensive marketing efforts and maintains strong relationships with realtors, further solidifying her reputation in the industry.
Before joining CrossCountry Mortgage LLC, Ms. Copeland served as a loan officer at Mason McDuffie Mortgage Corporation from 2022 to 2024. During this period, she continued to refine her expertise in mortgage lending, providing tailored solutions for clients and contributing to the company’s growth through her dedication and professionalism.
Ms. Copeland’s extensive background also included her role as a mortgage advisor at American Dream Mortgage from 2012 to 2022 and as a loan officer at Mortgage Solutions of Colorado, starting in 2009. Throughout her tenure in this sector, her work has been characterized by a client-focused approach and a deep understanding of the evolving real estate market. Ms. Copeland has played a pivotal role in helping many individuals and families achieve homeownership, earning recognition for her outstanding service, level of integrity and efficiency.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Copeland garnered significant leadership experience as the co-owner and general manager of Jones-Healy Inc. Realtors from 1993 to 2006. In this role, she managed operations, led a team of professionals and oversaw numerous successful transactions. Ms. Copeland’s entrepreneurial spirit was evident as she also conducted appraisals for many of those years, broadening her expertise in property valuation.
Before her tenure at Jones-Healy Inc., Ms. Copeland worked as a closer for a local title company for more than a decade. This foundational experience provided her with comprehensive knowledge of title processes and closing procedures, skills that have been instrumental throughout her career.
Ms. Copeland graduated with a diploma from Pueblo County High School in Pueblo in 1975. Her commitment to professional development is reflected in multiple credentials, such as certified mortgage planning specialist, certified closer, certified appraiser and certified instructor by the Colorado Real Estate Commission. She is also a licensed private pilot of over 45 years.
Active in her professional community, Ms. Copeland spent over five years as a board member for the Caldwell Association of Realtors. Beyond her professional pursuits, she has become deeply involved in civic organizations and community service. Since 2010, Ms. Copeland has been an active member of Pueblo Rotary Club 43. She also serves on the advisory board for the Salvation Army and Pueblo Community College and volunteers with PAWS Animal Shelter.
Ms. Copeland’s journey into the mortgage industry was inspired by her role as an entrepreneur in the real estate sector and her extensive experience in related fields. Recognizing that mortgages were the only area she had yet to explore, she ventured into lending and quickly discovered a passion for helping clients navigate complex financial decisions. Throughout her career, Ms. Copeland’s professional achievements have been underscored by several prestigious awards. She is most proud of being named Top Producer in Colorado in 2015, 2016 and 2018. She also received the Top Company Growth National Award from Better Homes and Gardens two times, earned Rookie of the Year honors four times, and was recognized as Realtor of the Year by the Caldwell Association of Realtors.
Working closely with her son, Eric, who has been a loan officer since 2020, Ms. Copeland and he continue to serve clients with integrity and expertise. Looking ahead, she aspires to become recognized as a premier lender in Pueblo, continuing her legacy of excellence in real estate and lending while making meaningful contributions to her community.
